Gaelic poems with English translations on themes of religion and spirituality, family, daily life in Uist, and the author's upbringing in Glasgow & Barra. Received second place in the Donald Meek Award for Gaelic g: Sketches.   The rythmic simplicity of the poems should reach young readers and help them to appreciate a work of art. The choice and use of colors with the different poems should help the young reader to retain both the images and the vocabulary.
